Lord Brenzan Cerivius Akerenan (a.k.a. The Cobalt Dragon)
The second son of Bahamut is the Reasonable counterpart to his brother. Brenzan is the Cobalt Dragon of patience, reason and Discussion, though his physical Prowess is not to be discounted. Brenzan chooses to forgo most offerings of Gold or other common currencies, he instead prefers offerings of Electrum or Platinum, those coins used by the Ancient empires of the past. His Hoards often feature immaculate Weapons or Armor of exceptional Quality or Magical potency. He can often be seen in the regions surrounding the Roost, protecting outlying settlements and travelers. Though his most common marker is those who threaten people under his protection being left as frozen statues where they will be seen as a warning by others attempting something so foolhardy. Brenzan leads the Cobalt Soul, helping to Select Grandmasters for Monasteries and advise during times of concern. He is the only one of the five to have met Emperor Autrion Face to Face. During Autrion’s final attempt to invade the Alliance, Brenzan intercepted Autrion’s advance Party and froze them solid save for the emperor who cleaved one of Brenzan’s ram like horns from his head and the two ended the fight. Brenzan now has a metallic replacement.

Personal history
The middle child of the Children of Bahamut, Brenzan is the Cobalt Dragon and the one least frequently seen within the Roost, or rather was. He spent nearly all of his time away from the city and enjoyed for himself the wonders of the Wilds. This love of nature stems from his time spent under the tutelage of Saalima Khan, while he did not fully take up her druidic ways he did learn from them and take some of them to heart. While in his human form he is comfortable with the blade or bow, he prefers to end things quickly and quietly when possible.
He cares for Obyssia and was the one who offered to her the chance to truly lead the Cobalt Soul, as he maintained the image of the wise Dragon. In truth he wished to be like her, not tangled up in the politics of the roost or the squabbling that Aryzen so loved to engage in. Though he understood how lonely Obyssia felt and he never truly left the Roost behind, merely disappearing for long stretches of time.
Brenzan has done his best to temper his brother's fury and to keep Bahamut alive long enough to truly live up to the ideal he holds of their father. This was on full display when Brenzan tried to save his brother from the claws of Dartag but ended up only just getting the two of them back to the Roost. Brenzan has been under the care of Esther Bitteroot in Edin since the fall of the Roost.
