Dalictar, Platinum Knight
All my life I have tried to live to be the legend he was... or what I was told he was. And now I don't think I can. I have failed in every way on that front. Maybe another path...
Dalictar
Eldest of the Children of Bahamut the Platinum Dragon strives to emulate his Father and live up to the Example of the Dragon God. As such Bahamut has a heightened sense of Duty, which many see as Arrogance when interacting with him. He stands proud and tall among the denizens of the Roost, often spending much of his time outside the City, patrolling between the outposts that border upon the Northern Tundra. His balance of Power, Intelligence and Reason have led him to being assumed to lead the Children of Bahamut, much to his chagrin. He does not interact with his sibling very frequently, viewing them as lesser for their interaction with the mortals they are surrounded by. Bahamut himself is filled with a loathing of Orcs and Chromatic and Gemstone Dragons, though he does make an Exception for Queen Saalima.

Personal history
Hatched under the eye of Saalima Khan, Dalictar was named Bahamut after his late father and despite Saalima attempting to instill otherwise, he became convinced it was his life's goal to be the second coming of the Platinum God. After he reached 300 he returned to the roost where he was born and became its foremost defender.
When the Great Wyrm Dartag attacked, Bahamut attempted to intercept and dispatch the monster with aid from his brother. The two were nearly killed in the process and spent months recovering within Edin under the watchful gaze of Esther Bitteroot and Saalima Khan. Following their recovery after the Scales of Rustean Aldlith were used to seal their injuries, they have both dwelled within the bounds of the Keep for some time.
Following Mazerath's attack against the Keep, Bahamut began to question himself and after talking with the Platinum Wyrmling Kenina on how she viewed their nature, he set off to the south and arrived in Edin some days later. He has chosen the new name of Dalictar and is questioning his future paths while aiding Saalima in her battles against the Empire, viewing her as the closest thing he might have to family aside from his siblings.
