The Brother of Shelyn, Zon-Kuthon was once a God of Art and Love as his sister but he ventured to the dark places between realities and was tormented and corrupted by the beings within. When he returned he was Zon-Kuthon, The God of Pain.

Personal history
Zon-Kuthon's past is one of tragedy, once a God of Art and Love as his sister Shelyn, he grew jealous of her talents and left Golarion to roam the dark places between the stars. He found horrors awaiting him there, they tortured him and broke his mind until he returned as the God he is today.
Following the Cataclysm of Rovagug on Golarion, Zon-Kuthon fled with the other Gods to the newly remade world of Almura. There he established the Shadowfel as his domain once more and returned to his scheming. He remains mostly uninvolved with the affairs of the other planes but a notable exception came when the Goddess Ilavis was born from a cult of deranged worshipers. It is generally agreed that this was Orchestrated by Zon-Kuthon himself but to what end is unknown, as he generally despises the company of others especially fellow divines.
Since Ilavis was created the Dark Prince has become more active in the affairs of the world, his followers can often be found assisting Ilavis' in their schemes and Zon-Kuthon himself seems to favor the company of his "Wife" more with each passing year. Together they have made many shadow horrors and many fear that a true union of the two gods of shadow could spark a new Divine War. Some whisper that their Union has already born a Divine Child but so far none have shown any proof of these claims.
