Many of those who live in this area can find careers in most fields but most commonly mining, stonework, smithing, and other practical craftworks.   Agricultural District - This district consists of the outer crescent of the skyland. As suggested by its name, this area consists of fertile farmlands and many floatwood orchards. Many who live in this area can find employment as arborists, carthands, sheppards, as well as skyguards and skiffers for those who live closest to the drop-off.   Market/Industrial District - This district goes by its interchangable title due to the many shops, stalls, studios, and minor factories found in the inner crescent of the city. This portion of the city has the widest level of diversity in both individual races as well as careers and walks of life due to the majority of the cities public skyports being located in this district.   Isla Royale - This white marble district serves as the capitol of both the city and the Protectorate of Orizon. Only the wealthiest of individuals can afford to vacation, shop, or live in this district. Due to being the seat of the Chair of Orizon, this district has the highest level of security in the city.

History

The skyland of Orizon was initially settled by mages from the City of Trees around 550 AB. They were attracted to the potential of a land above the clouds as it offered respite from the menacing threats and racial tension on the surface. The mages dedicated themselves to perfecting floatwood crafts to traverse to the vast skyland. Following the success of the first settlers, many others from the region endeavored to make the journey as well.   In the early 600s, the city had a basic district system divided into quarters based on race - the dwarven quarter, the elven quarter, the human quarter, and the peace district. Unintentionally, this division system caused conflicts, as the dwarven quarter received the most financial support due to its proximity to Bolg. This led to violence on several occasions over the next few hundred years, requiring soldiers from both Bolg and the City of Trees to intervene and maintain peace. The tension also fueled further conflicts between Bolg and the City of Trees due to the racial conflicts, with Bolg supporting the Dwarven quarter and the City of Trees supporting the Human and Elven Quarters. It wasn't until the Bolg/City of Trees peace resolution of 1300 AB that they were able to work together to maintain peace. These efforts allowed Orizon to become a united city for the first time in its history.
