Ela’don is a large angel, tasked with bringing light and hope to the beings of the world, and so created the sun and the daylight. He takes great relevance in spells focusing on attacking the darkness and the damp. Clerics and paladins who follow Ela’don often shine with an inner light, even in the darkest of places. His teachings are often considered somewhat idealistic and impractical, yet many look to him as a virtuous deity.
Nevertheless he serves as a warrior of the light and hope, often driving back creatures that would otherwise cause destruction and death. However, he can be seen as slightly harsh or callous towards his own followers, believing his work to be an unending crusade.
