The Blood Gods

May the old gods hear and bare witness to my vows. I swear upon my life and soul that I shall be loyal to my Lord, or may I be offered up to the old gods for judgement. - The Lost Vow
The blood gods are a nameless set of beings, as endless as legions of the largest armies ever created, and are rumored to see into the material plane through split blood. As such, many old houses are left splashed with blood that is supposed to allow the old gods to see, hear and speak to the mortal world of men. It is a comfort to some that any betrayal is seen by the old gods and they are known to be powerful and angry beings.
