The Tàlma Family

Strange and more than a little unsettling, the Tàlma family watches over Ninetta. It is a land practically made for its ruling family. The laws are unlike many others as the Tàlma family heavily believes in following their own laws, and handling matters internally. As a such it can be somewhat difficult to move into the land, but once you are in, you are considered somewhat protected from the out lands. That being said, the Tàlmas do hold a very strict moral code, though it can be difficult if not impossible from time-to-time to tell exactly where that code lies.

Structure

Like most of the royal families, the Tàlma leadership went to the oldest surviving son. If there was no male heir, it would then pass to the nearest male relative.

Culture

Ninetta is a land dedicated to privacy and darkness. All who like to be left alone find acceptance here. While they are not devoid of friendships or family, it is considered odd or impolite to be too friendly or nosey with strangers. In fact, it is far more the custom of the land to speak at little as possible in public.

Public Agenda

Theives, criminals, and beings of the night seem to find home in Ninetta. There is a universally understood law in Ninetta. No one saw anyone or anything, and no one says anything.

History

Lord Ualier the elf took power in 2594 at 175 and ruled until he was killed in 2626 at the age of 206. He married Helair the half-elf and they had an elven child: Neldor.   Lord Neldor recieved power in 2626 at the age of 24. He has yet to marry though he claimed a bastard, elven son, Nelte.

Law

While the Riverwoods are fairly neutral towards the Tàlma, the dark elves appreciate the Riverwoods for running the kingdom effectively.

The Tàlma highly respect the Lichts as they have very strong beliefs and uphold the law as best they can. Ironically enough, this is the exact reason that the Lichts have a strong dislike of the Tàlma, because of their unusual behavior towards the law of the country.

Law

The Tàlma highly respect the Eviers as they have managed to create order and law out of a land that was once dangerous and hostile.

Magic and Darkness

Given both families love of magic and secrecy the Tàlmas and Underborne have found a strange sort of kinship with one another.

Vampires

The Collwells hold a great anger with the Tàlmas due to their alleged work with vampires.

Reckless/Odd

The Doxys may appreciate the Tàlma family due to their oddities, however, the Tàlma view the Doxys as reckless and dangerous and try not to associate with them.
