Necria
Necria is a mysterious interplanar empire not native to Amospia. The small section of territory they claim is merely their Overworld outpost, with most of their empire existing in other planes.
History
The origins of Necria are largely unknown, however it is believed that Necria's Dark Lord was once a Narman who used his knowledge of dark magic to open a portal to -1:-1 to escape the Great Flood, eventually sacrificing his form and becoming a powerful demon.
Necria first invaded the Overworld in 1080 CE, their portal opening in the swamps between the kingdoms of Memphis and Raskaria. After demanding the world's subjugation, the two warring kingdoms called a ceasefire, joining forces to fight Necria's undead hordes.
While the specifics of the war's end are unclear, what is known is that the Necrians eventually called off their invasion, claiming the land immediately surrounding their portal as an outpost. Since then the Necrians have had almost no influence on world politics, with their last major move being their involvement in the Great End War of 1402 CE.
Military
Their military is characterized by the use of massive hordes of mindless undead, commanded by powerful liches.
