Aurix

Then the stranger's skin broke into a thousand golden scales, and the light of the heavens scattered over the rippling hide of a great dragon, whose wings covered the mountain yet spread no shadow, and the Stranger's hands blossomed into mighty claws, and Aurix the Golden placed Muisashimats upon his back and carried her through the air. In the valley below, the people of Muisashimats' cousin saw a burning brand like a piece of the sun upon the wind, and its brilliance scoured their sight. When faded at last the light, they beheld the stranger and the old woman standing before their village fire.
Aurix is the Dragon God of Justice, Wisdom, and Order.    Wherever he goes in his true form, Aurix moves as if submerged in water. His wings ripple and his whiskers undulate gently. The light that radiates from his scales is said to blind the injust and illuminate all else.   Solitary and contemplative, Aurix resides high in the Bakmada mountains. When he does travel among mortals, he prefers to do so in mortal disguise, nudging the tribe that bears his name into action and subtly guiding them in wisdom.   Tales of Aurix's righteous fury regard the Golden Dragon as one of the most destructive forces upon the Mortal World

Personal history

When the seven gates of The Silent City swung open, and the Seven Traitor Dragons laid waste to the Infernals and their legions, the Elemental Sovereigns watched in awe. Inspired by the power of the seven, the Sovereigns created new dragons to protect the Four Kingdoms from the Infernals. The first ten dragons are the Dragon Gods, and Aurix is the first of their number.
Muisashimats shut her eyes and waited for the sun to set on her for the last time. When again they opened, the firmament bore the brushstrokes of heaven's light, but the golden gleam of day remained. A voice, warm and deep, spoke to her. "Who has taken it from you?"
Beside her sat a stranger of humble garment and noble bearing. Muisashimats groaned. "I have met too many strangers in my years. Grant me solitude and peace, and trouble me not." The stranger remained calm and steadfast. "For one who spent her life's sweat in service to others, what peace is there in solitude?" The elderly woman grumbled but said nothing. Again the stranger asked, "Tell me who it is that has wronged you, and what they have taken.
In the Bakmada mountains, a clan of the indigenous culture tore itself apart because of a family feud. The oldest survivor of the defeated family, Muisashimats, was exiled, and climbed the tallest mountain she could find to die within eyesight of her lost home. A stranger appeared to her, asking what happened, and when she told the story, the stranger revealed himself as Aurix. He took Muisashimats back to her home and confronted those who dwelled there, those who drove her away. By his judgement and wisdom, he brought justice to the clan, bringing the people to confront the wounds and wrongs of the past generations and the present. They accepted responsibility for Muisashimats and provided for her until her dying day.   From then on, Aurix guided the people of Bakmada, appearing in disguises to teach them the value and practice of justice, even when it seems impossible or too complicated to attain. This led the Bakmadans to become an introspective, wise and principled society, building open-air monasteries upon the mountains, beside the mountain lakes and waterfall valleys of the mist shrouded warm peaks. Some of them were blessed and brought forth Dragonborn offspring, marked with the golden scales of the Dragon of Justice. They took the Golden Dragon's name as their own. Tales say they were the first of the Dragon Tribes of Okarthel -- but every tribe has tales like that.
