Okarthel

From the silver peaks of the Jonil mountains to the ports of Danoks, overlooking the pearl sea, from the lakes and moors of Megaeni in the east to the deserts of Vutazon in the west, the Dragon Tribes of Okarthel span more land than any nation or people in all the Eastern Continent. Ten different cultures, each with their own lands, clans, traditions and territories make up the Ten Tribes of Okarthel, and all of them dwell under the protective shadow of dragons' wings.

Structure

The Ten Tribes of Okarthel are part of a loose confederation. United only by their mutual reverence for the Dragons who protect them, there are many differences and conflicts between each tribe, and within each tribe.   Various tribal councils have existed throughout the years but the only confederated body to survive every permutation is the Dryicir, a gathering of no more than ten actual dragons--one from each tribe--who only meet in times of absolute crisis among the tribes.

Culture

The only unifying aspects of the Ten Tribes of Okarthel are the draconic language and a reverence for dragons. Each separate tribe is its own culture, with multiple nations and clans within.

History

The Dragons were part of the Mortal World since its inception. The year 5483 marked the first gathering of the Dryicir and the first official recognition of the Ten Tribes
