Order of Solari
The Order of Solari is a quasi-religious order founded in the 130th Cycle by disgraced Hhrot soldier and notable Spellweaver, Lightwatcher. Aiming to spread justice across the Elpis System and return to the Hhrot's traditional ways, the knightly order counts up to 4000 people living on Radiance Station. People from all walks of life make up the bulk of the Solarian Order. Lowly soldiers and exiles seeking refuge make up the "working body" of the Order. Higher up are witchwarpers and solarians, some of whom are Boshaari Ex-Templars. These form the "mind" of the Order. Together they are led by the Council of Five. The core belief most Solarians adhere to is the belief that the stars are manifestations of the Void Mother's will made tangible, and a reminder that all things must belong to a harmonious order, with no emotions nor excess to cloud judgement.
Headquartered beyond the Hodeth Belt, the Order often find themselves at odds with greedy and less principled corporations, locally established colonial powers (who see them as trespassing on their jurisdiction) or cults, such as the Cult of the Arch-Code, despised by the Solarians as self-important tyrants. Some dismiss the Order as luddites who would suppress self-interest. Nonetheless, they are also champions of the downtrodden and those left behind in the wake of their colony's success.
Even though the Order is a champion of the law, they have formed an alliance with the disruptive Swords of Rava and often share their solari techniques with them. They are also not afraid to deal with issues head on across the system, even if that would technically break the local law, so long as they believe it is for the greater good or in the interest of their Void Mother.
