Metaninaite Crystal of Ancient Power
Metaninaite Crystals of Ancient Power are extremely powerful shimmering rainbow-colored crystals capable of being filled with Ancient Power. Each crystal can be used to draw Ancient Power running through the Ley Lines. It acts as a battery when placed into a staff or other magical object. Many powerful objects are either made out of or have a cleaved crystal in them.
Theia (Greek Titan of Gemstones and Crystals), along with Incantus and Isis Mystic, created these crystals. These are left after the Deities of Ancient Power have come down. However, the big crystalline structures were too big and too heavy to move for anyone, but Theia showed Dwarves, Elves, and Fairies/Faeries how to cleave the big crystals.
Some of these crystals were placed into mystical items and objects.
Others, like the two crystals in the Cavern, were given specifically to certain people. It is possible there are more unknown crystals that are hidden.
If properly cleaved (specifically cut to harness power within gemstones) by the three races, a staff could be one of great power.
Humans have no idea about gemstones and crystals having magical power only liking them for their beauty and for the wealth they might provide. Humans certainly don’t know about their having great power.
Each of the known staffs, besides anything from Atlantis and Lemuria, are imbued with a Metaninaite Crystal.
Merlin’s Ancient Magic Staff, Nicholas's Ancient Magic Staff and Amulet, Staff of Christmas Spirit I and Amulet, and Jantris Trelor Meliwin are four staffs that each have a Metaninaite Crystal.
Are there future or unknown staffs with Metaninaite Crystals? Possibly.
Two bigger crystals are the Christmas Crystals used in The Cavern of Great Christmas Crystals.
Unlike other gemstones and crystals, these ones aren’t found underground as they ONLY appear when the Deities of Ancient Power have come and gone from Earth. Dwarves can still locate them.
