Santa's Toy Workshop

Merry Christmas, visitors! I am one of your tour guides. Name is Jo Lynn Snowflake. We here at Santa's Toy Workshop, often called the Department of Toys and Games, make the toys for all kids and then wrap them. Our department is one of the biggest in the city.   We have enough space to build all the toys we need.   As a Toymaker Elf in the main sub-department of Toy Creation, I make a specific toy. However, we know how to make all of them. And we often help other sections who lack the people to do so. But no toy is ever made in a different section.   The Toy-making Elves only make twelve sections of toys.   All current toy sections are as Sleds, Bikes/Trikes, Sports Equipment, Rubber Duckies, Stuffed Animals, Dolls/Action Figures, Games (board games and Jacks and similar games), Paint Sets and Artsy Stuff, Toy Sets used for Imagination, Bouncy Balls, Puzzles, and Wooden Toys.   Now, I’ll hand you off to my friend in Wrapping. You guys have fun!   Gertie Toyhopper hopes you are well! I am a “Wrapper”.   We here in Wrapping do our work with Joy and Love. Before a toy is finally wrapped, we tell them only kind words. We say how loved they’ll be and how much a kid will enjoy them. Throughout the toy being made, we make it with Love but we here at the end ensure that if anything happens to the child then it makes feel loved, comforted, and safe.   After we wrap all the toys, we load the sack starting with Americas and ending with Asia. Some others from the Department of Reindeer and Sleigh Operations and Department of Christmas Eve Delivery help with this and help load the sleigh.   We are done for another year after this.   Of course, our boss is Bernard Gabriel “Gabe” Malachi.     The Department of Toy and Games is run by Lord Bernard Gabriel “Gabe” Malachi. It is divided by three sub-departments, Toy Research and Development, Toy-Making and Wrapping.   Toy Research and Development is a small department run by a department manager. Elves here build prototypes for toys before being put into production. These elves are called Toy R&D Elves.   Department of Toymaking or Toy Creation and elves who work here are also called Toy Creation Elves. Toy Creation Elves work in sections (or sub-sub-departments). There are multiple sections. Each kind of toy is made in its’ own section.   The Toy-making Elves are in eleven sections. All current toy sections are as follows; Bikes/Trikes, Sports Equipment, Rubber Duckies, Stuffed Animals, Dolls/Action Figures (GI Joe-esqe or Barbie-esqe dolls), Games (board games and Jacks and similar games), Paint Sets and Artsy Stuff, Toy Sets used for Imagination, Bouncy Balls, Puzzles, and Wooden Toys. Anything electronic is a former section not in operation anymore. Elves in Wrapping are often nicknamed “Wrappers”. They wrap the presents that come from Toy Creation. However, these elves do not start working until June. But they do have a system.   This system goes from continent to country to city/town/village/rural area of city or town. Of course, they put all of North and South America in first as these are the last places to celebrate Christmas (Christmas Valley notwithstanding).   Some elves wrap toys in wrapping paper and others box or bag and decorate it with paper and ribbon.   Santa’s Toy Workshop works with Department of Reindeer and Sleigh Operations and Department of Santa Trackers & Christmas Eve Delivery to load the sleigh. Sleigh-Loaders are elves from all three departments who load Santa’s Sleigh. Technically, they load the sack. But then it's taken to the sleigh by one team of the department.   The Toy Department has control over Santa’s Toy Workshop and Toy Storage Waystation Depot. Although they control several buildings, other departments also own several buildings.
