The Child
When Suul and Luun created the first God , it split into two separate entities. The first of these became known as The Parent , and the second became known as The Child .
The Child, like its namesake, is full of wonder and curiosity, and is always seeking to explore and understand the world around them.
The Child is stout and tubby when compared with its fellow Gods, standing only about half their height at ten meters tall. The Child, like The Parent, has light brown skin, and tight, curly black hair.
Worshippers
Children, and children at heart, explorers.Clergy
Worshippers of the Child formed the Church Of The Wondrous Eye . The church is so named because the Child is often represented by a dot within a circle, signifying a wide open eye, full of curiosity and wonder. Initiates into the Church are often called "Infants", whereas the more seasoned are given the title "Toddler." Senior members of the Church are called "Wonderseekers." All clergy typically wear cassocks in light shades of both pink and blue. Paladins of the Church of the Wonderous Eye are known as "Tantrums," and typically adorn their shields and weapons with images of the Wonderous Eye. A typical blessing from a worshipper of the Child is, "May the wonder of a child ever fill your heart."Temples
Most temples to the Child are not permanent structures, as many worship the Child by exploring the world. As such temples tend to be wherever the priests set up a place in which to hold services. This could mean inside a tent, in a forest clearing, or even on a bustling street corner. However, there are a few large temples scattered about the world, where those who wish to devote their lives to the Child may receive their training. They are typically located in remote locations, forcing those who wish to train there to travel and explore.Dogma
The commandments of The Child are as follows:- Explore the world with curiosity and wonder.
- View each moment as though through the eyes of a child.
- Celebrate joys both large and small with enthusiasm.
