Anide is a polytheistic world, and many people will offer prayers to more than one of the gods. One may pray to both The Child and The Parent to look after their newborn, or to Suul and The Farmer for a good harvest. Being a devout follower of one of the Gods does not necessarily preclude one from offering prayers or worship to another of the Gods, so long as the Gods in question are not in conflict with each other.
