Arietta dan Vacht is the sister of Arpeggio and daughter of Cassandra dan Vacht and Duke Damarand Allocco.
Born as a part of a fae pact between Cassandra dan Vacht and the Lady of Mirrors, Arietta led a challenging life.
Abducted from her home in Paragan, she was separated from her beloved brother and sold into slavery in Belegond. During this time here, she made contact with the Obliviati and slowly rose through the ranks, gaining the nom de guerre of 'The Songstress'. Arpeggio's personal goal was to track her down and reunite the siblings. In Ebrion he eventually found the ledger in which she was sold in the stock of Aelfreck Pingorn. Travelling to Belegond with the Thanes of Order to find her, their paths eventually crossed in the Cavern of the Storms.
Here, they discovered Arietta had been fused into a mechanical dragon along with Sinan Thune. She was killed in pitched battle by a lightning bolt by Rhobur Toziros. Gamble swore an oath to Umberlee for the power to reunite Arpeggio and Arietta and this has been a major driver for her.
The Lady of Mirrors has a vested interest in re-acquiring Arietta as a part of a plan to have 3 siblings of one mother and three fathers as a part of a ritual to ascend to godhood. It is for this reason she loaned the somewhat change Arpeggio back to them for one year and a day.
