Daenor

Located deep within the Andredsweald, this Elven settlement is nearly forgotten to the outside world.
The settlement is built in the treetops far above the ground and is nearly undiscoverable to all those that do not know of its secret. It is accessed by a coded whistled phrase whereupon a wooden lift is lowered.
The Elves of Daenor are keen to avoid contact with the outside world, follow what they perceived as a slight from the humans that they had helped rid of an undead scourge. As such, to protect the secret of their settlement, it is packed up and moved every ten years.
Daenor is governed by a Taari, the female leader of the tribe. This passes along the matriarchal line. The current Taari is Nienna Daenorin , with her consort, Eärendur. These are the parents of Lavanel Daenorin, who serves as the Cora of the Guard.
