Kurundu

Kurundu is the largest and most easterly of the Spice Islands. It was the first settled and claimed by Milagon and named Canela. Unfortunately for Milagon, it had already been populated for centuries, and the locals weren't best pleased with that.
A new arrangement was settled, driven by the power of the islanders to stop the flow of spice, their knowledge of the unnavigable waters around most of the islands and the power of the Acuerdos. Milagon would control the trade with the islands through the powerful Spicers Guild and they would allow the islands to continue largely as they had for centuries, and not travel further than the welcoming Pala.
Trade largely passes out of the major town of Port Sabor.

"Arrived at Canela. Colonised a decade ago by Milagon, this island is becoming a thriving port town for trade in the local fruits and spices. The local leader, bought off by an offer of Milagonian riches, ceded the island to the now self-proclaimed governor. The Conde received and welcomed my ship, and has offered provisions for my ongoing journey. He has warned of the dangers posed on some of the further islands. Once restocked and my crew have enjoyed some shore leave, I intend to set off for further islands. Sadly, to my interests, most of these dangers seem to lie with the human populations rather than the great monsters of legend.
However, I have met in my time here, an old story teller whose legends continue to give me hope of significant finds for the Order.
