The ship was first encountered by the Thanes of Order whilst adrift at sea. No hands were aboard, though through Oddly, it's nameplate had been removed, no flag was flying and the figurehead had been crudely chopped off. Speaking with former crewman Juan and Filipé, the party discovered this ship was called the Oreka. The ship had been sailing, its cargo largely secret from the crew, to Alagria. All had been uneventful until it reached a certain point and then unfortunate things started happening. They became becalmed for a day. Then, the discovered the next morning the sails were slashed. The sail maker and navigator turned up dead. The suspicious started to believe the ship was cursed. Then, the ‘cargo’ escaped and the captain, against the wishes of his patron, ordered all hands bar himself to abandon ship. The ship was transporting a summoned Ice Devil to Alagria to be used as artificial cooling. This was against all naval policies and highly dangerous. Even worse, aboard the ship, disguised as a merchant, was a Rakshasa by the name of Jarwal, a member of the Obliviati. He later turned on the Thanes and was defeated. For now. The Thanes claimed the ship as their own and through some ersatz paperwork registered it as The Red Princess in Mitzu. For a short while, whilst questing for the treasure hoard of Captain Thorne and the Eye of Mercannan, it flew the pennant of the Imperial Family of Mitzu. It no longer flies this as they traded it to Odessa Zaine for her assistance.The Red Princess
