Archduke of Roer
The patriarch of the Leander family and the highest authority in the District of Roer. Archduke Leander is renowned for his ability to navigate the political world of cosntantly-bickering nobility and remain impartial. He believes in following the letter of the law above all in any dispute and will not allow for rights of any his subjects to be taken away from them, regardless of whether that subject is a land-owning noble or a grimy goblin peasant. This has earned him quite a few enemies from among the high nobility that do not approve of his dedication to lawful equality. Opinions amidst the common folk are split between those who love and support him for his fairness and those who believe he is too impartial and uncaring for their struggles. However, it is unquestionable that Archduke Leander is a capable leader. A veteran and hero of the War of the Lions, Archduke Leander is a close friend of King Gabriel Vasari IV.

General Physical Condition
Archduke Leander is a broad-shouldered man of slightly-taller-than-average height. He has long, dark brown hair falling in straight locks to his shoulders. He has a short, nearly trimmed beard. Despite his age, he does not have many wrinkles or signs of aging, except the noticeable graying of his hair and beard. He dresses formally, typically in a military-esque uniform. When speaking in front of people or attending official gatherings, he wears his war medals on his chest, as well as the Leander family signet ring.
