07: Law of Constants
"Of the Primal Creations, Time and Source are attuned. Constant force directs the energy of the Ley, in its binary states. Potentials are locked in the Matter, variable in the infinite Source. The Cosmic Flow, of central force, directing all things in those natural Worlds. Their transmissive Songs will carry the Rhythm to the Meta-Rim; Source is inspired by the Songs sung through the Aeon and new forms shall appear. Time, the crusher of the Macro-Micro Cosmos, releases the spirits and the Source to the Cycle. Of the Construct of Matter and the Energy of the Domain, the Cycle repeats, recycles, and renews.

Manifestation
Throughout the Primal Laws, the acts of Primal Creation are named within the structures of their frameworks, providing Diviners and scholars with clarity to the meaning of the Divine statements. In the Law of Constants, the statement provided describes the constants of energy, in that it can exist in a "fixed" state or a "volatile" state, and that the of the material, the physical is "fixed" in nature while the spirit (and all that which relates to Source) is volatile, potential energy.
Life, and those subjects of the material realms, Ley Corpus, are subject to the pressure of Time. As a constant, entropy of living and immaterial things is induced by the rigors of Time. Entropy also exists in extreme forms as heat and cold entropy deaths of the universe. This is explored further in the Law of Diminishments, but it relates to two Proofs found within the Law of Constants.
The "Proof of Vibrations states that "All things vibrate, resonating with the Meta-Rim and the Source." In the Law, this is the first mention of the WorldSongs. Oah is the Divine Interpreter of the WorldSongs, the collective transmission of every planet and world in the Cosmos. Waves and rhythms ebb and flow along the Source.
Alchemists refer to this in the "All-Chemia" relates an interesting model which describes the creation of their Homunculi. This unique understanding of the Laws, particularly of the dynamics of energy and theme of constants related in this Law, led to the "Homunculus/ Familiar Modem", a volume that describes the creation of these Constructs and the link between Casters and Familiars. In the modem, it describes the unique relationship of synthesizing Spirits for Soul- Bonds, the connections formed between individuals, predominately Familiars and Homunculi.
The model describes an admonition, p.phrased, "The Homunculus is a vessel and the energy contained is the result of mixtures; compounds of Life that animates the object. The Caster's Source is a synthesis of these compounds." Animals and small beasts, homunculi and item constructs, are all subject to the Law of Constants. If a connection between these two are severed, through death or dismantlement, the Caster suffers the backlash of the energies as they surge through the Caster to return to the Source.
While these entities make useful servants, Alchemists and Casters must beware when infusing them with their living spirit, as their death can cause a backlash that will harm the owner of the Familiar. The grief of losing a beloved companion is also severe.
Casters attune to Origins of Source and direct their Will into reality. Source communicates the Caster's desires to reality and by conditions woven into the Spellcraft, reality alters for the Caster's Source, based on their attunement to the Origin of Source and their own Willpower. The "Spell Failure Provision" is another warning provided by the Law of Constants.
Should the Caster and subject of the spell not form the proper connection, such as the unwillingness or overwhelming Will of the target in relation to the Caster, then the spell fails.
