Firmament Laws/ Law of Origins

00: Law of Origins

" I am the Original. Nothing occurs before the Origin. From the Original, Time is boundless, and for All- Life, Timeless. One in observance watches All- Life, eternal; Nothing exists without observance. Anima is the proof of Origin."
— an excerpt from the "Origo Magnum Opus", a sacred text regarding the meaning of Origin & Firmament Law

A) Aeon Dictum
"Time is written boundless, therefore, unbound to the Will of Caster or Divine."

B) Anti- Clocking Provision
"Corpus in Origin, with or without Spirit & Soul, is Ageless within the Anima."

C) Oblivion Provision
" Without observance, there is Nothing and only Nothing remains."

Manifestation

The Law of Origins states that there is an Origin for any phenomenon. After the 1st Prima Creation, Time, a Soul emerged unbound, as proof of the Original. Since the Original observed Time, it exists in two states: Time & Timelessness.

Within context of the Law of Origins, Diviners adapted the Aeon Dictum, "Time is written boundless, therefore, unbound to the Will of Caster or the Divine." Time exists as the ultimate expression of Creation; no spells or magic affects the objectional flow of Time. Time was written outside of the Firmament Laws to preserve it's nature as a continuous force in the Cosmos. This is why Time has the greatest effect on Magic; in later laws, the concept of magical entropy is expressed in the Law of Diminishments.

The Law of Origin also creates a framework for the Law of Consequences- with any action there is an opposite but equal reaction. Appearing later in the Firmament Laws, it is seen as early as the Law of Origins. Time was projected as the 1st Creation of the Original, thus, the consequence of Creation was the border between the material and spiritual realms, referred often as the Ley Realms: Corpus & Anima, respectively.

As the Material Realm, Ley Corpus is where Physical bodies are born. Ley Anima is the Spiritual Realm, where Spirits and Souls manifest. Souls exist outside of Time whereas the prime material, Corpus, is subject to Time. Between them, Time operates at different intervals, passing quicklyin the Corpus. The Anima, however, doesn't promote aging, as it exists in a "Timeless" state. The "Anti- Clocking Provision" declares that "Corpus in Origin, with or without Spirit & Soul, is Ageless within the Anima." Travelers between realms have noted the difference in Time, as they could tell stories with lengths of years as only a day or so had passed in the Material.

The Law of Origin also explains why Deities that are forgotten in their worship fade into nothingness. The Origin Mythos depicts what happens in the Cosmos when the Souls of a Deity, its domain and worshippers are annihilated. The Oblivion Provision claims that without observation, creation is reduced to nothing.

Oah had witnessed the Silent Millenium and the Oblivion Provision. If he had perished upon his martyrdom, the Cosmos would've died in cold entropy. Deities are meant to observe Creation. When there is Nothing left, all that remains is Nothing.
