Lord Phiramet

Lord Phiramet was a mummy lord living in the ancient city of Ghaztyut in The Haunted Realm. They were a cruel vinefolk emperor who led their fiefdom of Ghaztiwoil to conquer the entire surface world during their era. They sold their soul to the devil Pluxidu in exchange for power and became a powerful warlock. They enslaved many of their conquered enemies to build and improve their dominion, and executed others as sacrifices to Pluxidu. Once Ghaztiwoil covered all of Archestria, Lord Phiramet searched for a way to become immortal so that they would never have to forfeit their soul to Pluxidu. They built a giant pyramid in Ghaztyut called the Great Temple. The Great Temple was positioned within range of the power of the Haunted Realm, so when Lord Phiramet had their body mummified and preserved there, their soul remained within the body indefinitely, achieving a state of endless unlife safe from Pluxidu's clutches. The mummy would simply reform in the Great Temple if their body was destroyed. As a side effect, however, Lord Phiramet's undead form could not leave the Haunted Realm. It is not yet known how the empire of Ghaztiwoil was destroyed, but Lord Phiramet's self-imprisonment likely aided its fate.
A group of adventurers explored Ghaztyut during 2023-08-19 The Haunted Pyramid. They learned about the History of Ghaztiwoil and Lord Phiramet and defeated the mummy lord, acquiring his Howlpeak key.
During 2023-10-14 Rest in Peace, a group of adventurers confronted Lord Phiramet and Witch Doctor Jha'kri to reach the Orb of Preservation. The adventurers defeated them and destroyed the Haunted Realm, taking away Lord Phiramet's immortality. When their mummified form regenerated and attempted to attack the adventurers again, an icy portal materialized, and Pluxidu emerged to seize the mummy emperor and drag them into hell forever.
