Avignois
A quaint farming village, Avignois has been blessed by Chauntea with rich farmlands ripe for farming wheats, starches, and all manner of vegetables. It is known for being a quiet peaceful place, isolated from the hustle and bustle of both the Dawnkeep and Tormhold. The village center itself is nothing more than a row of buildings on either side of the road, a halfway stopping point between the major settlements in Au Lac.
The primary business of Avignois is ranching, and the lands surrounding the village are dominated by hundreds of ranches and farms of every sort and size, from tiny horse farms to great fields of cattle. During those days that livestock are brought in for trading, Avignois is a dusty, noise-filled place, with the sounds of the animals competing with the shouts of farmers hoping to sell their goods.
