Nation in the centre of the continent Valles marineris here resides the Kasei empire, an empire formed from the fall of the Harenae kingdom that had stood since the first age of man approximately 640 years ago. The Kasei empire is known as a powerful nation in control of the superior technology and resources, such as the residual gained by the sand treaty with the dune dwarfs; used to develop/use arcane tech.
Each settlement of the Kasei empire requires and emblem for recognition/annunciation, each emblem is required to both be distinct from each other but all still recognizable for being a part of the great Kasei empire. Many of the symbols for settlements was first made during an early age where the symbology was designed for shields, but during the civil age where Kasei was founded several of the emblems was revised. The new designs were meant for a more general use (Letter, item icons, pins, local flags, military symbol, industry markers), for the most part the old imagery was kept but modernized.
The government of Kasei has worked tirelessly for hundreds of years to keep their settlements united, the most successful methods of this has been to remind the public of their hash history where their union has been a fundamental bases for their success, other methods have been their holidays, language, gods, unique resource access and cultural activities. Therefore, it is similarly important for the empire to design the settlement emblems in a way for them to reflect their allegiance as well as allow for their individuality, to prevent further rebel actions as the ones observed from the “Neutral” state regions in the norths “Salvus, Mihʻzaɣuşar, Tilaway & Thaḩæ”.
