Fauna Fortune

Fauna Fortune's true form is that of a metallic gold dragon, though she often chooses to disguise herself as a female human monk. Hailing from the Draconian Republic, Fauna has a very draconic interest in gold, and worked closely with the Roame Trading Company's Draconian division, acting as a liaison between them and the House of Commerce. Fauna’s true identity was discovered by the bounty hunter and follower of Garom - The Lady of Irons, Lykos. Fauna was slain in Draconia after rivals of her position hired Lykos to slay her. Awakening in Crestfall Ruins with the other members of the Sanctioned, she had no recollection that she was truly a Gold Dragon, believing herself to be a human. It was only through time and hard work that she was able to regain the ability to polymorph herself back to her true form. During her time with the Sanctioned, Fauna adopted a somewhat arrogant and aloof attitude towards her comrades at first, but eventually counted them among her closest friends and family. Towards the end of her journey through Velant, Fauna entered into a romantic relationship with the goblin Frez, a close ally to the Sanctioned and assistant to Alex / Arcturus. Being one of the individuals that hated Janus the most, Fauna personally beat him to death at the end of their confrontation after Janus' attack on Serenia. After the death of Janus, Fauna chose to leave the Sanctioned to go back to her villa in Draconian Republic, wanting to once again have access to her vast amount of wealth and resources. Taking Frez with her, Fauna promised to reunite with her friends frequently, extending an open invitation to the villa to all of them.
