A glorious paradise of floating islands in a sea of radiant clouds, Serenia is widely regarded by scholars as the most beautiful of all the realms. Its elegant structures, crowned with bronze and gold, sit atop platforms bridged by pure air and light, surrounded by countless lush island with elegant falls cascading down into the radiant depths. Behind its exterior beauty lies the domes and citadels of the Lightsworn, a group of benevolent beings loyal to Selune, charged with upholding justice and peace. While there are many that believe the most virtous mortals' souls travel to Serenia upon their deaths, many scholars contend that there is no evidence to support this claim. In fact, there are scholars who contend that the benevolence of Serenia and its denizens is in fact romanticized, and that the true nature of the realm is far more gritty. Still, being the realm most closely associated with Light, it is commonly regarded as a realm of continual harmony and splendour. Selune herself once held court at the centre of Serenia, in the golden city known as Bastion. From there, she kept a watchful eye over her subjects, and on the dark terrors throughout the realms she has sworn to combat. Now, that role has been adopted by Uriel and Geulah.
