Heartstopper was the name given to the pair of gauntlets given to Kal'ran of The Companions by the Ancient Medulla herself. Capable of destroying the very armor of any foe, Kal'ran wielded the clawed gauntlets with unmatched ferocity during the Battle of the New Dawn. After the battle, Kal'ran chose to have the gauntlets destroyed in favour of saving the lives of BattleMaster Riker and Vacquel, thus ending the weapon's short but well spent lifespan.
