ShadowWardens

No light without shadows. We will dwell in the shadows, to serve the light. The ShadowWardens were a strange organization said to be comprised mainly of members who had been ostracized from other facets of 'normal' society. Active around 500 3A, the ShadowWardens had a headquarters on Warden Isle, a small island off the south-west coast of Velant, near where the Kingdom of Velant's capital of Rimora now resides. According to a few surviving records recovered from Warden Isle and general speculation, the ShadowWardens worked to protect the people of Arkos and fight against evil using very unconventional means. Dark magic, monster infusion, and abyssal pacts are a few of the terms thrown around when referring to the practices of the ShadowWardens, leaving many to debate the validity of the ShadowWardens presumebly honorable goal. With the recent events of the Battle of the New Dawn and The Kindling, public opinion of the ShadowWardens has soured, though many wonder why people's opinions on a 500 year old defunct brotherhood matter.
