"We all come from the same earth and stone around us; Human and Elf, dwarf and halfling - as a leader, ye've got to see past the differences and unite yer people against the Black Empire. Arkos depends on it." - Telmin Brightforge in one of his first conversations with Mythra Crescentia
Telmin Brightforge is perhaps the most famous and well regarded dwarf in the history of the continent of
Crescentia. Uniting the Dwarven tribes of the Brink Mountains at the young age of 30, Telmin went on to construct the great under-mountain city of
Brightforge with his newly formed Dwarven kingdom. When the
Black Empire began seizing control over the land and raising the dead all over the continent, Telmin was one of the first members to join
Mythra Crescentia and her Order of the Eclipse. Bringing his united Brink Dwarven tribes, Telmin helped Mythra liberate the Fire Giants of
Evenfall Foundry and ultimately helped banish
Nex into
The Void at the end of the Eclipse War.
After the war's end and the formation of the
Crescent Empire, Brightforge and Telmin's people were inducted into the Empire as a facet. During these early imperial days, Telmin oversaw the creation of the Pale Tombs, Brightforge's massive, multi-leveled catacombs for dwarvish heroes and stoneborn. Unfortunately, he did not live to see its completion, and was buried alongside his legendary weapon and symbol of office, the Brightforge hammer, at the bottom of the opulent tombs.
