The Debt Collector

The debt collector is one of the signature artifacts of the Ancient Faust, and serves as a powerful dagger that's power grows as it is used. It is also capable of cutting the etheral tethers that bind mortals to deals made with Faust.
Ironically, the dagger did not orginally belong to Faust, nor was it created by him. According to legend, the dagger was forged by a powerful mage named Joculatrix that made a weighty deal with the Ancient during the First Age. Wanting to cheat the system as it were, the mage constructed the dagger in the hopes of being free of her end of the bargain. While this did not prevent Faust from eventually finding out and tracking the mage down, Faust was so impressed that he decided to let the mage off the hook, and name her his first champion. In exchange for the dagger, of course.
The dagger is currently held by Angel of The Companions, who obtained it after the Battle of the New Dawn.
