The "Order of the Radhaputni's Guardians" is a prestigious and ancient order of cavaliers among the Meynari, dedicated to protecting the dense jungles and the creatures that inhabit them. These cavaliers are skilled riders and warriors who have forged a deep bond with the wildlife and natural elements of their homeland. They draw inspiration from the majestic jungles, employing their knowledge of the terrain and their affinity with animals to become formidable protectors of their people and environment.
Order's Skills
Members of the Order of the Jungle's Guardians gain the following skills as class skills: Knowledge (Nature), Survival, Handle Animal, and Stealth.
Edicts
Protect the Jungle
A cavalier of this order must make every effort to protect the jungles and its creatures from harm, whether it be from poachers, deforestation, or other threats.
Respect for Wildlife
Members of this order must treat the creatures of the jungle with respect and understanding, never hunting or harming them unnecessarily.
Harmony with Nature
A cavalier must strive to live in harmony with the natural world, respecting its balance and cycles.
Challenge
Whenever a cavalier of the Order of the Jungle's Guardians issues a challenge, he gains a +1 morale bonus on attack rolls made against the target of his challenge when he is adjacent to the target. This bonus increases by +1 for every four levels the cavalier possesses.
Order Abilities
Jungle Stride (Ex)
At 2nd level, the cavalier gains the ability to move through dense jungle terrain with ease. He no longer suffers movement penalties or takes damage from natural hazards in jungle environments. Additionally, he gains a +2 bonus on initiative checks when in jungle terrain.
Dinosaur Bond (Ex)
At 8th level, the cavalier's bond with the jungle deepens, allowing him to enhance the abilities of his dinosaur companion. The cavalier's dinosaur companion gains a +2 bonus to Strength and Constitution. Additionally, once per day, the cavalier can use a swift action to grant his dinosaur companion and all allied dinosaurs within 30 feet a +2 morale bonus to attack and damage rolls for a number of rounds equal to his Charisma modifier.
Jungle's Resilience (Ex)
At 15th level, the cavalier becomes exceptionally hardy and immune to natural poisons and diseases. He also gains resistance to environmental hazards, such as extreme temperatures or inclement weather, when in jungle environments. Additionally, he can expend one use of his challenge ability to grant himself and his allies within 30 feet temporary hit points equal to his cavalier level.
Jungle's Guardian (Ex)
At 20th level, the cavalier attains the status of a true guardian of the jungle. He gains the ability to call upon the spirits of the jungle for aid. Once per day, as a full-round action, the cavalier can invoke the power of the jungle to become an embodiment of its fury.
- The cavalier gains a +4 morale bonus to Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution.
He becomes immune to all environmental hazards, including extreme temperatures, natural poisons, diseases, and fatigue.
- His jungle companion (if present) also benefits from these bonuses.
- The cavalier's mere presence inspires awe and fear in all jungle creatures, and they will not willingly attack him or his allies.
- The cavalier can communicate with and command all creatures native to the jungle within a mile radius as if using the "speak with animals" and "charm animal" spells, though these creatures still retain their free will.
