Höffs Borough

Höffs Borough is the seat of one of the most powerful duchies in the Red Realm. The Höff dynasty has held firm authority over this region for centuries, aided by marriage with elven houses that controlled it before. House Höff is the highest-ranking noble house in the Red Realm made up primarily of half-elves.
As duchy seat, Höffs Borough is the site of the ducal courts and jail, as well as a substantial treasury. The town is home to the training grounds of the Red Realm's cavalry, and the duchy's equestrian focus carries over to leisure at the race tracks. Höffs Borough has a rich tradition in technology and arcana, evident from its university, which trains artificers and magewrights. The town is home to one of the largest temple to Gond, called the Hall of Wonders. The ruling family resides at Goldmew Palace, overlooking the town from the high hill at its center.
