They can have different levels before the full effect of the condition takes hold. These are usually done in turns instead of scenes.
Some conditions only have one effect and will have dice level effects before the player character is taken out of the scene.
Healing Conditions:
Standard conditions can heal on their, unless G.M. says other wise. A cut can heal one conditional step down per scene.
Some of the more dangerous conditions can worsen per scene unless treated by priest or healer.
