The Old World Inn

The Old World Inn was the first proper installment in The Bastion since the Calamity and is the only reason most people visit. It was named for how starkly it reminds folks of what was lost when Aegon fell, with the livelihood of the Inn starkly contrasting the cold quiet of the ruins around it. With only a small dormitory and some tents for rent it is a bit presumptuously named "Inn", but the wine is strong enough for few to care. It has become a mixing pot for people of all kinds and creeds; from religious zealots to intimidating monstrosities and everything in between. So far as the Old World Inn's owner Beraht is concerned everyone and everything is welcome, just don't break anything!   This Inn was cobbled together in the most stable area of the ruins and is one of the only spots in The Bastion that you can feel safe from falling rubble. Although Beraht Dromana, the Old World Inn Tavern Keep is the foremost owner, Kohdama the Blind Seer has a partial stake in the business as well, being that this structure was once Kohdama's home before being converted into the Tavern. Within this space there are a number of different spots to interact with one another:
The Dance Floor: Front and center to the main floor, this area has had the tables moved aside and offers ample room for activities. The central dance floor in the Inn, here you might bust some moves to a raucous ballad, swoon the peanut gallery with a lovely slow dance, or make a proper drunken fool of yourself.

The Regulars: This is a group of tables near the servers on the main floor, and they all have a great view of the dance floor. These spots are popular amongst return visitors. Anyone looking to get refills fast and enjoy all the atmosphere the Inn has to offer should sit here. The Back: The go to spot for every mysterious hooded figure or brooding Rogue, these tables are in the far corner of the Inn and are shrouded under the second story platform above. It's poorly lit here, and nefarious deals aplenty are struck over these tables.
