Iver Rivt

Name : Iver Rivt previously Spyce Arborik

Race : Floran

Age : 47 in Terran Years

Weight : 68 kg / 150 lb

Height : 178 cm / 5.84 ft

Spyce was born into the rather small Floran Tribe of Arborik, Sprout (biological offspring) to the Greenfinger of the tribe and son to the entire tribe of 29 individuals. His family was his tribe, and this aspect was reflected both in his social empathy as well as his curiosity towards the unknown, always in search of solutions for his family's troubles. The Tribe of Arborik's homeworld named Hepiteph IIa was a Primeval moon filled with deadly beasts and nigh impassable rainforests situated around the Outer Belt at the Unima-Ordel border. It is upon this very moon that Spyce lived with his family for 12 Terran Years, that is, until the sudden annihilation of his Tribe by an unknown group of spacefarers.   Lone survivor of the tragedy, Spyce was left stranded on Hepiteph IIa to fend for himself once the spacefarers were gone. Weeks passed... Months...   On the dawn of his 13th Terran birthday, a splinter of the Avikan Fleet happened to pass by in search of a desert world to establish an outpost upon. That is when a certain family of Avikans found Spyce and took him in as their own despite the heavily xenophobic sentiment that most Avikans expressed. These Avikans were the Rivt, a respectable family of smiths and craftsmen. They gave Spyce a place to call home and raised him to the best of their ability, and eventually gave him a new name upon his request on the coming of his 17th birthday.   Iver Rivt was now born into this universe, adept at crafting and possessing great insight. Additionally, Iver had 2 adoptive brothers, Monty the calm and collected older brother deeply intrigued by Centens artifacts, and Cene the hyperactive and jovial younger brother in search of adventure. While the older brother focused on scientific discovery and the younger one on thrill-chasing, Iver enrolled into the Avikan army and excelled as a shock trooper thus leading to his recruitment into The Watchers (Avikan CIA but more hands on), a very efficient intelligence gathering organization under the direct control of the Elder Council (Avikan Leaders).   He would work under The Watchers up until his 28th Terran birthday, during which he obtained the right to leave the Avikan Fleet and explore the galaxy on his own. Naturally, his family was not too happy with the idea of Iver leaving to explore the great unknown, but the Floran had an inquisitive mind and wanted to explore the vastness of the Milky Way.   Reluctantly, the Rivt wished safe travels to their adoptive son and sent him on his way. From then on, Iver traveled across the 4 Quadrants and met many different people with different backgrounds, such as Lenius Scarlet the dairy product addict Novakid; Liran Weldar the Kirhosi freedom fighter with ties to the KLF or even young Sentaku the sociable Draconis and the crew escorting him.
All of these connections however pale in comparison to two people...A curious and resourceful Saturnian girl by the name of Ymira followed by a very angry and nihilistic Avian by the name of Nahulatl.   Much could be said about the meeting between the Saturnian girl and Iver and how their lives advanced together through the creation of the Ymirallis fungus, but it would be best to leave most of it for Ymira's own backstory. As for Nahulatl and Iver's meeting, it was upon a lush world colonized by many Avali, one of which, named Eximillian, was in search of answers concerning the Ruin. It is upon this lush planet that a strange trio was formed, an Avali; an Avian and a Floran.
From this, the colony grew and became stronger, while Eximillian and Nahulatl mostly worked with the other avali to expand the colony, Iver put all of his efforts towards the installation of an underground laboratory in which he could study the Ruin and its Hivemind.   Over time, Iver started working less and less in the underground laboratory on the lush planet and spent most of his time with Ymira and the result of his research back at his secret facility on a hidden Fungal world. Deeply engrossed into his work, Iver solved the mystery of the Ruin's Hivemind and pushed it even further, using his newly-acquired knowledge to come up with the Psionic Theory.
In the meantime, he also wrote many books on the Ruin and other scientific subjects such as Centens engineering and genetic manipulation, of which the latter was completely dropped by the Floran.   His absence on the lush world was somewhat felt and this allowed for the unimaginable to happen, an assault on the colony by cultists of the Ruin belonging to the Black Knights Syndicate which ended up releasing the Ruin samples used as research subjects in Iver's underground laboratory. One thing led to another and the trio meant for greatness ended up going their own way following the necessary destruction of the colony they worked so hard on. Nahulatl eventually reappeared from time to time, whether it was through Ymira or directly to Iver, the Avian always seemed to care about these two.   A year or so passed, Iver is now 43 years old and feeling the weight of the years upon his shoulders. It is during the year 431 A.F that Iver assembled most of his connections and resources in order to create the Ragos Protocol, a black syndicate installed on a Mountainous planet with snowy weather. Due to the links that certain members of the Ragos Protocol had, the organization grew quickly and well, such members would be Liran and her ties to the KLF, as well as Halene Forl the EX-Hegima Arachne engineer...

Additionally, the Psionic Theory perfected by Iver provided an edge to the organization, mainly on a technological level but also on the field, making Psions (Psionics users) excellent spies and fighters.   Iver Rivt is now 47, an old Floran with a lot on his mind and still as thirsty forknowledge as he used to be on Hepiteph IIa in the past. Psion but magically inept, he now spends most of his time directing his organization and publishing books, one of which is still in the works... "Mind Over Existence : A View on the Psionic Theory''.
