Ymira Rivt
Name : Ymira Rivt previously Ymira Kypseli
Race : Saturnian
Age : 36 in Terran Years
Weight : 71 kg / 156.5 lb
Height : 181 cm / 5.94 ft
Ymira is a female Saturnian who was born in 399 A.F on the Saturnian Homeworld Carnalia within the Wartan System to the Kypseli family, a household of proud crystal engineers. During the advent of the Magic Era, in 407 A.F, the Saturnian Government started funding a new spacecraft design known as the Janus Project. Said project was about the development of a new kind of spacecraft design, one that would not require fuel but mana to function. Ymira's parents were immediately instructed to work on the Janus Project along with many other engineers; mechanics; scientists and mages. For 8 years, Ymira had little to no communication with her parents and ended up having to grow up and learn relying only on herself and the money her parents provided her with. It is at the end of those 8 years, that Ymira, now 16 years old, was visited at her family's house by government officials to inform her that both her parents had passed away in an accident while testing an engine. The truth was that both her parents were executed by Saturnian Intelligence after their work on the Janus Project was over in order to keep the schematics of the Project classified. But Ymira didn't know about said Project nor of the actual reason for her family's unfortunate circumstance... She never found out. Following this tragedy, Ymira spent the next 3 years studying and living a rather monotonous life. But it is during this time that she made a friend, a male Thaumoth by the name of Gwyfyn Arnel who had a passion for Geology. Gwyfyn was rather cheeky and really liked to pester Ymira in order to distract her from her overall gloomy situation, in turn, Ymira would learn to trust him more… But that trust was misplaced, for he would eventually go off world to work with MOSQ Initiative, which left Ymira alone and depressed once again. Ymira is now 19 and after failing her studies due to insufficient grades, she would spend her days living off the streets of Carnalia's capital, exploring its secrets and meeting the people living in it. That is, until a Nest-Craft belonging to a small group of Thelusians arrived on the planet and landed on the biggest spaceport available. They were slavers and brought with them quite the handful of “merchandise", it was later found out that this specific group was the one to guide a small raiding fleet of the Occasus Cult upon the capital. The Cultists were thankfully pushed back thanks to the powerful Janus Spacecrafts which were deployed to counter the raiding fleet, but many Saturnians were captured as slaves by both the Occasus Cult and the Thelusian slavers. One of them happened to be Ymira... Skipping one year of slavery and torture at the hands of the Cult, Ymira was rescued by a certain Floran while she was working tirelessly at an Occasus Outpost. The Floran brought her far away from the Cult but not without any loss, for her will to live was shattered; both of her arms had been butchered and her hands cut off during their escape. Iver Rivt was his name, an adult Floran of age 31 who owned a rather large facility on a remote Fungal world situated within the Outer Belt of Quadrant Unima. Said place was where he brought Ymira after escaping from the Cult and it is also where she and he would live in for around 6 years together, during which the both of them would eventually develop a sort of father-daughter relationship. Indeed, after more than 15 years, Ymira finally had a new family that she could rely on. But what really marked those years was the creation of a very specific fungus which Iver genetically engineered as a way to repair Ymira's arms and hands early on. The fungus, later on named Ymirallis, spread out throughout the Saturnian girl's body extremely quickly, essentially becoming some kind of second self that prioritizes the host's well-being and safety. Now 26, Ymira spends most of her time learning how to fight and defend herself properly with her adoptive father, as well as catching up on her studies through private tutoring from Iver’s contacts such as Halene Forl; Liran Weldar; Ishtac Spyestra and other folks that would all later on form up the black syndicate known as the Ragos Protocol. The next few years are packed with minor events such as Ymira living for a short time with a small colony of Avali that remotely knew her adoptive father before eventually coming back to his facility, it is also there that she experimented with the Ymirallis the most, as she somehow felt that it could be used not only internally but also externally. What she found out is that the Ymirallis is a perfect Anti-Ruin fungus, but the energy cost to completely cleanse even an entire settlement the size of a small village is tremendously heavy on her body. It is only around the end of her stay with the small avali colony that she met Nahulatl and began to call him Uncle Nahu as Iver surprisingly considered him a good friend. And so at age 36, Ymira, who had set up a small home on a remote Gas Giant for herself met a special Draconis woman who went by the name of Kamryn on a resort world owned by the esteemed Lady Cirina of Clan Cirina. Kamryn was and still is a very knowledgeable individual who seems to have a profound admiration of Iver and his work. Ymira and Kamryn studied many subjects related to magic, the main focus of the new era, one such subject would be Ymira’s magical capabilities which were confirmed by Kamryn through an ancient Draconis ritual. Ensuing this revelation, Ymira studied magic with fervor and developed a strong knack for Dark Attributed Magicks. Having learned quite a lot about magic and the endless possibilities it provides, Ymira put all of her efforts into founding her own company. This organization by the name of “Anaptyx Magicae” prioritized the use of magic in pharmaceutical practices, which would eventually attract Varkain Laboratories’ eye.
But currently, Ymira and her firm are barely known or even in activity for that matter, as they are still forming themselves up from nothing.
