Guild of Actors and Playwrights

The Guild of Actors and Playwrights is one of the older guilds in Carcino. Being able to stay out of political disputes between the Nobility of Carcino and the Guild Masters, the Guild of Actors and Playwrights is still able to claim many noble houses as patrons to the arts and the guild. Dressing in the normal Carcino garb of loose silks and robes, the guild manages to keep a low profile in the current times. They proud themselves on this fact, believing that because of their neutral stance on the financial issues of the city, that they will be able to freely join whichever side comes out victorious with power and wealth. Lead by Decimus Pomponius, a famous member of the guild and playwright himself, the guild has some 15,000 registered actors and playwrights.
