Drusai (droo-SAI)
Drusai is a tall city with an economy based on the mining of copper, as well as the import and export of various goods from other settlements. It's located in the same large bay as Zelenni. The two are considered sister cities.
Demographics
Primarily Southeastern Suktu and Southwestern Suktu. The Southern Adalei and Polda make their home here as well. A decent population of Metropolitan Kalzua are present here as well because of Drusai's proximity to mineable mountains. Of course, the Camua can be found in Drusai too, though they're more secretive and hidden away than the other races.
Defences
Drusai's City Guard watches the massive wall surrounding the city, keeping both external and internal threats under control.
Industry & Trade
Thanks to its central location along Tasawa's coast bordering the Middling Sea, Drusai is a hub for trade, export, and travel. Its closeness to copper-rich mountains also makes it a desirable place to collect and sell the mineral.
Infrastructure
Like every tall city, Drusai has vast, elaborate sewer and water distribution systems supplying the entire settlement. Courtyards can be found at many intersections and within residential districts. The roads are laid out in a geometric pattern radiating from the center of the city.
Points of interest
Espen Pirshala is positive that an unknown killer stalks the streets of Drusai, leaving a trail of corpses in their wake as they grow ever bolder in their murderous intentions. Few agree with his theory, believing that he is acting out of overzealous concern for the city's safety and drawing conclusions where none ought to be found.
Architecture
Like every tall city, Drusai is built from marble with subtle dark green hue.
Climate
Drusai is cold enough to receive a small amount of snow every winter. During the spring and summer months, however, the weather is rather pleasant.
Natural Resources
The nearby mountain range provides a steady source of copper to be mined (primarily by the Metropolitan Kalzua) and sold (usually by the Suktu.)
