Session 6: Infamous Report

General Summary

The party faces off with Gideon Beauregarde and other members of The Faceless Guild in an alleyway. Gideon tells them that a bounty hunter only going by the name of Ardenyx wants Averel dead and that after 24 hours, he'll come to do the job himself. In addition, Gideon reveals to the rest of the party that Averel is really a changeling before lunging at him in an attempt to claim the bounty for himself. After he fails, the party begin their search for Ardenyx, though wary of Averel being a liability. One thing leads to another and in a wild goose chase around the city, the party questions hobos, crackheads, businessmen and eventually a lord by method of breaking into his home. Kairon gets caught and is immediately sent up to see Lord Eonir Elixin by his humble servant Homjack. Elixin then tells them what he knew of Ardenyx in return for a favour: retrieving his stolen warship blueprints from the High Dominion. The party learn that Ardenyx is a revenant killed and kept captive by André Calixis and that the only thing they can really do is be ready for attack until they're strong enough to kill Calixis. Whilst preparing for the oncoming attack, Elixin persuades the party to really think about what they want to achieve and how they can start to trust each other. And as the revenant finally manifests, the Masters of the Nine Elements are ready to do whatever it takes to save the world. All characters level up to Level 5.
