Fire Islands

An archipelago west of the Earth Mainland ruled by the Republic of the Fire Isles, otherwise known as the Fire Nation.

History

Long ago, the Fire Islands were the home to the most powerful empire in the world - the Sun Empire. The citizens of this Empire were known as the Sun Warriors. The Sun Empire ruled much of the Earth Mainland with an iron first until the Empire was defeated in a revolt called The Bending War. After their empire fell, the Sun Warriors were slowly driven off the islands over many years by Earth Peoples who began to colonize the Fire Islands. These early Earth Peoples who colonized the Fire Islands eventually become the Fire Islanders which inhabit the islands now.
