Sea-orchid

A rare marine species, with affinity with both Nature and Mind. They are the result of the mating between a Sorcerer and a Mermaid. When underwater, they grow round petals around the waste in an umbrella shape, and their swimming style is similar to that of jelly fish.

They can perform magic without a medium for conductor or needing to bond with spirts or elements, but their magic is mostly intuitive and imprecise. Sea-orchid share, however, a very unique characteristic, which is the fact that they can switch species at will and, every seven year, can perform the change in someone else. Their brilhantus are also very unique, as they have two secondary forms, a terrestrial and a marine. Sea-orchids are rare occurrences, as mermaids don't often mate with sorcerers, and when they do, the chances of a successful impregnation is low.

Territories

The sea-orchids share the territory with the blue-tailed mermaids, as the latter were the first to conceive a sea-orchid, and the tail color that most successfully produces this rare species as well.

Blulatonne

The capital of the Vice-Queendom of the Blue Sea, the moving island across the southeast of the Blue Sea, is the haven of sea-orchids.
