River Mermaid

A less powerful, all female hybrid species of Nature, which integrates the merpeople. They resulted from the mating between a Mermaid and a hybrid, such as Fairy, Chimera, Pixie, or Brasante.

The mermaids' magic is mostly connected to the water and, on river mermaids' case, the rivers. They are also extremely beautiful and their voices melodic, so much so that they can hipnotize men to do their bidding, just like other mermaids. Their tails are green. Their magic is not as powerful as sea mermaids, but they are equally mesmerizing and possess sharp senses.

Territories

River mermaids live almost exclusively in the rivers of the central/north of Azberná.

Isle of Root

The capital island gathers most of the river mermaids, as per an ancient agreements of respect of both marine and terrestrial laws signed between the Queendom of Root and the Empire of the Seas.

Isle of Fun

The Fun Republic is the independent isle of hybrids, where people live in almost constant revelry. Many hybrids live in the island, such as pixies, chimera, river mermaids, ondine, and brasante, but the fairies are in power, as the biggest population.

Rocky Isle

The river mermaids live peacefully together with dwarves, fairies, and chimera all over the Rocky Isle's coast and rivers. Despite not being citizens of the Dwarf Kingdom, they abide by the dwarves' rules, and the dwarves respect their marine legal differences.

Blulatonne

Though in fewer numbers, some river mermaids opted for living together with the merpeople on the rivers of Blulatonne, under the rule of the Vice-Queendom of the Blue Sea.
