Angioletta's Temple

In the late Fourth Age, Angioletta's Temple was a stone monument in southern Cascada connected to a demiplane of Elysia, the Plane of Life. The Zenethian Cloak remained hidden in a large temple structure within the demiplane until it was recovered by Joseppe, the Shadow Mage.

Description

Stone Monument

In the foothills of the mountains, a set of standing stones, most with intact lintel stones, formed a circle of eight arches. By the late Fourth Age, these were in a state of ruin and only half of the arches were erect. This is knows as a place rife with natural energies.   In the center of this formation was a fairy ring of white-cap mushrooms, which formed the silent gateway to the demiplane. By merely stepping within the circle, the Zenethian Heroes were transported.

The Demiplane

To the Heroes, the demiplane appeared as a large, black void. Though the ground they stood on appeared solid, there were no visual markers to judge distance in the place. Far from the place of their arrival, the Heroes spotted a large stone structure.

Angioletta's Temple

The temple was a large structure of gray-colored stones and a triangular roof. Wide pillars with the symbol of Gaia, The Allmother framed the entrance.   The main chamber inside was a long room with several support pillars leading to an earthen plinth. On the far side was a wide mirror spanning the length of the wall. In the center of it was a golden frame the size of a book or tome. Viewable in the mirror was a stone dais with many worn and aged leather books. Neither the dais or the books were seen outside the mirror.   The spellbook of Joseppe, the Shadow Mage, was the key, which when placed in the golden frame, allowed Joseppe to traverse the mirror to the other side. Within this chamber was an access to a small room, which held the Zenethian Cloak.

History

The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow
At some point in the early Fourth Age, Angioletta, Wielder of the Zenethian Cloak, hid the Zenethian Cloak in Angioletta's Temple.   In 4A 995, the Zenethian Heroes entered the demiplane and were led by pixies to Angioletta's Temple. Here, they recovered the Zenethian Cloak.
