Background
Steverossa's origins are unknown. Based on comments made by Esturk, The World's End in the presence of Rath, the Blackguard, Steverossa seemingly had early connections to Esturk before betraying him. At some point in the late Fourth Age, Steverossa became allied with Psaro the Manslayer and heled Psaro subjugate the races of Parthenia.Campaign One: The Zenethian Heroes
In 4A 995, Psaro and his armies attacked Branca, the Kingdom of the South, from the east. The armies of Branca were defeated and scattered and Psaro marched to the Gimora Mountains. On 24 Felim 4A 995, Psaro and his armies, including Steverossa and Black Phillip, General of the Manslayer attacked Hometown. They slew most of the residents and captured the childhood friends of the Zenethian Children, who were magically disguised as the Children. Psaro's armies marched back across the Branca countryside, causing much damage, and went back across the Parthenian Sea to Parthenia. Near the end of 4A 995, Psaro sent Steverossa to ambush the Children at the Mausoleum of Dwarf Lords. Steverossa used his magic to freeze Brigitte in place and used his dagger to draw her blood. He sacrificed himself to send this dagger to Psaro. At his death, his form was overtaken by a dark force, and his body was torn asunder and burned to ashes. After the battle, the party used Leo's magic to speak with the body. They learned Psaro sought the Children's blood and knew the copies he kidnapped were fakes. Before the spell could complete, Aoth Stormwind interrupted the magic with a holy arrow, interfering with the magic of Nerull, and the spell rapidly finished. With no more body to use to cast the spell again, they were forced to move on without their questions answered. As they prepared to moved on, a dark voice entered Rath’s mind that directed him towards a single remaining tentacle that had been cut from Steverossa during the battle. In the Grand Bazaar, Rath along with the cleric Khader, used this tentacle to again cast Speak with Dead. When they did, the dark presence in Rath overtook the spell, and a demonic voice cursed Steverossa for his betrayal and promised eternal damnation. This entity consumed the recalled illithid’s spirit and all the knowledge he had, and Steverossa was utterly destroyed.Relationships
Psaro the Manslayer
Steverossa defected from Esturk's forces and voluntarily joined Psaro. It is not known what caused this. Psaro used Steverossa to begin the subjugation of Parthenia and plan the attack on Branca and Hometown. Steverossa was loyal enough to Psaro to sacrifice himself to transport the blood of Brigitte, the Grayguard, to Psaro.
