Tubei Desert

The Tubei Desert is a large desert or brushland region in West Alantris. It covers Central Alantris, and is bounded by the Bloody Sea to the west, and the Wei Mountains in the East. The Tubei is notable in history as the location of several important cities along the Traders Road to the northern ports used for the Silk Sea trading lanes.
The Tubei is a rain shadow desert, formed by the Suyai Plateau blocking precipitation from the Bloody Sea reaching the Tubei territory. It is the fourth largest desert in the world and the largest in Alantris.
