Bloody Sea

So named due to its reddish hue, the bloody sea is aptly named, for it has seen the longest continual history of warfare in the known world.
The lands of the Indus have always held back the The Dread Empire, and it does so on the Bloody Sea, so littered with the dead that it is considered a holy place for both sides of the conflict.
While traders so sometimes sail through this battleground, wise merchants go around, taking the Silk Sea routes instead.
