Penn Wolf

Penn was a lithe and graceful half-elf, embodied the blend of his elven and human heritage with an air of duality. His pointed ears hinted at an otherworldly ancestry, while his features carried a human warmth that set him apart. Younger than Mastiff by a few years, Penn shared an intricate bond with his half-brother, their connection forged in the crucible of familial complexity. Born into a household shaped by the union of Mastiff's father and a half-elf lover, Penn emerged as the living testament of this unconventional love. The passing of Mastiff's mother cast a long shadow, and Penn became both a symbol of renewal and a living embodiment of the changes that fate could bring. As brothers, they started their journey on common ground, sharing laughter and dreams.   However, as Mastiff matured, a cloud of resentment formed in his heart, directed towards his father's new family. This growing darkness created a chasm between him and Penn, straining the familial ties that once bound them.   In 589, Penn's life took a new trajectory when he was dispatched by his father to serve the noble Hawthorne house in Mystwall. The fates intertwined him with Zoi, his friend and superior, forming a bond that transcended the master-servant dynamic. Penn saw Zoi as a sister, a confidante who witnessed the complex interplay of Mastiff's emotions and actions.   Recent twists of destiny revealed a blossoming connection between Penn and Tama, a relationship kept secret from Mastiff. Penn, torn between loyalty to his brother and the burgeoning affection he shared with Tama, now navigated the intricate web of emotions, secrecy, and familial ties that defined his complex existence within the span.

Death

Penn's death came at the hands of the Yuan-ti, followers of the nameless one. Their leader, Sulvagren, captured Penn due to his noble birth, intending to use him as a vessel for the evil spirit known only as the Risen King. In a gruesome ritual, Penn's heart was removed from his chest. Although Tama and his party managed to defeat Sulvagren before the sacrament could be completed, Tama's soul did not respond to the call for resurrection. At the Bastion, the party sought help from Brother Marus Solstice to resurrect Penn. However, Penn did not answer Marus's call either. It was then that Tama witnessed a horrific transformation: Marus twisted and contorted, and a devilish voice asked Tama if he wanted Penn back. The possessed Marus reached into the air and grabbed Penn's ethereal soul. Penn's soul reached for Tama, but Tama refused to make a deal with the dark being. In response, the being tore Penn's soul apart, claiming him as fuel for the furnace.   Tama awoke from this vision to find Marus claiming that when he touched Tama's shoulder, he saw the city of Dis. The haunting memory of Penn's final moments and the dark choice he faced would forever linger in Tama's mind, a reminder of the cruel twists of fate and the sacrifices made in the struggle against darkness.
