Tan'valanin Sal'ladiel (a.k.a. Tannin)
Tannin was born in the elven city of Elfholme, where he grew up among the tall trees and shimmering lakes. He was always a curious and adventurous elf, and he spent much of his youth exploring the wilderness and learning about the plants and animals that thrived in the forests around him.
When Tannin was a young adult, he fell in love with a beautiful noble elf lady named Lirien. Despite their different social standings, they began a passionate affair that lasted for several years. However, when their relationship was discovered by Lirien's family, Tannin was exiled from Elfholme and banished from the city forever.
Heartbroken and alone, Tannin wandered the world for many years, using his knowledge of plants and herbs to survive in the wilderness. He eventually found his way to Mistwall, where he opened the Broken Blade tavern and began brewing his own beer.
