Scholar's Delight
The scholars of this guild, are focused on information gathering, freedom of information, and the dissemination of information for the advancement of science. They are a neutralish group within the world seeking to allow information to flow freely within the empire for the betterment of society. The guilds main task outside of information processing and maintenance is the collection of such. Focused on researching and studying pretty much anything that moves/exists, the guild is obsessed with everything about the world. There is no forbidden fruit or anything too dangerous to study. The world is free game. Those that explore for the guild are typically those that have proven themselves within the organization and have a reliable return on investment.
The Guild is not averse to murder, sabotage, blackmail, or any other subversive measure for the attainment of knowledge. All knowledge must be shared and the guild will deliver repercussions to those that hoards its power. There are those that have come before that have tried to hide there knowledge that thought the guild would not be watching them. There is nothing the guild doesn't see, nothing they don't hear. They are family.
Structure
They are structured based upon a school system with a Superintendent at the top to students at the bottom. They are a very open organization and anyone is free to join them.

The spread of new information and the study of the world. They are dedicated to informing and educating the people about the world they exist in.

History
With the rise of Mystaan, the people of Rakai felt that they needed to know and understand more of the world they lived in. To do this they appealed to Mystaan who approved funding by the Government for the program. With time this program expanded to multiple schools and a variety of universities throughout the Empire. Given his funding of the school system, has used a variety of the explorers as leads for the good of the empire.
